have been too busy to write ;)

Have now been in Hamilton almost three weeks and time goes so fast especially when you are having fun which I have had. I have mainly been at work in NICU, which have been great. I have really enjoyed working there and all the babies are so cute :) I have learned so much about taking care of newborns and the nursing culture in here. There are some differences in nursing between Finland and New Zealand. Here all the nurses have to have their own scissors, thermometer, pens etc. Also here is everything documented by hand, only scans can be found in the computers. Somethings are different for students as well, clinical teacher comes once a week to see you and you supervisor nurse, have a talk about how is everything going. She also give some tasks, assignments to do for the next meeting.

I have had quite much time off, too. I have been to Hamilton Gardens, not have that many pics from there as some of it was under renovations, so need to go pack there. I have been walking and running around the lake, that is right next where I live. I went to see the SuperRugby match Chiefs vs. Stormers. I had so much fun there, it is bit similar to ice hockey match in Finland for the atmosphere. On one Sunday me and Paula took to bus to the one of the biggest shopping centres in New Zealand. There were sales on so we did quite much summer clothes shopping. On that evening I went to for few drinks with a friend, just to see bit Hamilton at night time. I have been to the Hamilton zoo as well, it was nice place with lots of animals.

Raglan.

Bridal veil falls, just outside of raglan.

This is the place where I live.
