I finally got a job :)

Today is the the day for many firsts. It is officially first day of summer. It is First of december and I had my first day at work. Now I have been already 2 months in New Zealand and to day started my second week in the south island. Today I also had my first day at work. I am working in a vineyard and at the moment were are doing wire lifting. We are doing that so the plants will grow up instead of horizontally. It is really big vineyard and there is lots of people working. The work is not were difficult, but it is physical and there is lots of walking. I should have now work until xmas. Maybe I will have chance to make and save some money instead of spending all my savings ;) 

I am so happy now that I have work as now I have something to do. Here in Blenheim, is nothing to do and I have been really bored. I have been walking around, approx. 10kms a day, just to have something to do and kill some time. During the last weekend I went to a big park, and there is rose garden and some other flowers, too. 

I will travel back to Hamilton for xmas and spend it there. I don't have any plans for the new years, yet. It is going to be weird to spend xmas when the weather is not cold. I have had one summer xmas before and it was when I was in Zambia, Africa. Here is it not going to be that warm, though :) 

I have not made any futher plans for my travels. I need to start doing that soon as I think that I will start travelling south island at the beginning of february. I am still looking into travelling to Cook's Islands, Rarotonga, at the end of March, just to have "proper" holiday before I am coming back to Finland at the middle of April. I am trying to make most of it now when I am here and I have chance to travel as when I will be back in Finland, I won't have money or time off work to be able to travel :(
